Ms. Wannamaker concentrates her practice in immigration law, medical malpractice defense, and other civil litigation matters. Prior to joining Thomason Hendrix, Ms. Wannamaker was the managing attorney of the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) detention program in Los Angeles and New Orleans, representing unaccompanied children, asylum seekers, and other non-citizens detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Deportation defense, federal litigation and appeals, empoyment-based immigration, and the immigration consequences of crimes are particular areas of interest.
